Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Robert Paulson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paulson comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Cowboys from Hell. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Paulson digs a good hook to Chapman's body.
Paulson is looking to clinch but Chapman is avoiding it.
Paulson digs a good body shot into Chapman's ribs.
Chapman looks to clinch
and Paulson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Chapman tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Paulson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chapman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Paulson tests Chapman's chin there with a solid looking shot.

and Paulson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Chapman thinking.
Chapman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Paulson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chapman swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Paulson throws a good cross that connects.

Chris Chapman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chapman takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Chapman moves out of range as Paulson strikes.
Paulson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paulson defending well as Chapman loads up on a big left hand.

Chapman looks to clinch
and Paulson counters by clinching up.
Paulson misses with some punches.
Chapman blocking some punches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Paulson takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Chapman closes the distance but Paulson moves to the side
and Chapman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chapman ducks under a wild hook from Paulson.
Robert Paulson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice uppercut there from Paulson.
Chapman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chapman wants to clinch but Paulson slips to the side
and Paulson counters with a three punch combo that has Chapman backing up. Chapman nods at Paulson to acknowledge the strikes.
Chapman is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Paulson, as that shot connected.
Chapman is still on wobbly legs! Can Paulson finish him?
Chapman misses with a takedown attempt
and Paulson counters with a huge left! Chapman is in big trouble! He's backing up but Paulson isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Chapman from any more damage. A dominating finish by Paulson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Robert Paulson!
