Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Leeroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dameon Smyth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dameon Smyth will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leeroy staying out of range there. Smyth throws a leg kick that misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Leeroy. Smyth thumps Leeroy with a low kick. Leeroy gets a takedown into half guard. Smyth wants to get back to full guard. Leeroy wants to stand up but Smyth is controlling the position.

That's one minute gone in the round. Leeroy postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Smyth to stand up. Smyth shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Leeroy throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smyth was covering up waiting for the punch and Leeroy finishes the takedown easily into guard. Leeroy wants to get up but he can't break Smyth's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Leeroy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Smyth motions for Leeroy to come forward. Smyth throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Smyth throws a head kick but Leeroy moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smyth looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Leeroy looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Smyth tries to land a sweep but no joy. Leeroy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Smyth is keeping the position for now. Leeroy stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smyth looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Smyth throws a sloppy head kick and Leeroy moves out of range easily. Smyth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smyth throws a head kick that misses. Leeroy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smyth looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Smyth fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Leeroy is out of range. Leeroy feints and as Smyth raises his hands in defense, Leeroy changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Leeroy decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Smyth, up you get! Smyth misses the shot to the body. Smyth throws a head kick but Leeroy moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smyth misses with a head kick.

Smyth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smyth looks gassed! Leeroy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smyth's waist but Smyth gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Leeroy off to one side. Leeroy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Leeroy stands up from half guard. Smyth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Smyth pulls out of a head kick attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Leeroy dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Smyth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smyth misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Leeroy checks the leg kick. Leeroy takes a jab right on the kisser.
Leeroy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Dameon Smyth is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Leeroy shoots in and bounces Smyth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Smyth really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leeroy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Leeroy gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smyth throws a head kick but Leeroy moves out of range.
Smyth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Smyth fails with the takedown and Leeroy decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Smyth's guard. Smyth is breathing heavily. Leeroy gets to his feet. Smyth looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Leeroy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Leeroy stands up from half guard. Leeroy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leeroy clinches. Leeroy has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smyth avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Leeroy blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Leeroy looking for a takedown. Leeroy tries to score a body lock takedown but Smyth shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Leeroy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leeroy tries for a takedown but Smyth manages to get underhooks.
Smyth has had enough of the clinch but Leeroy keeps him there for the moment. Leeroy is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Leeroy wants a takedown.
Smyth misses with a short punch on the inside. Smyth tries to land knees in the clinch but Leeroy avoids the damage to the body. Leeroy has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Smyth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smyth tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Leeroy avoids it. Smyth changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Leeroy fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Smyth.
Smyth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Smyth wants to land a leg kick but Leeroy is out of range. Leeroy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Smyth. Smyth stuffs the takedown attempt from Leeroy. Leeroy gets slowly back to his feet. Smyth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Smyth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Leeroy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Smyth as he jumps to the side. Smyth missing with a left hand there. Leeroy was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Smyth pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Leeroy will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Smyth throws a hook but Leeroy avoids it easily. Smyth throws a sloppy head kick and Leeroy counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Smyth's guard now. Leeroy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Leeroy dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Smyth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Leeroy shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smyth napping and manages to drive through into side control! Leeroy decides to stand back up. Leeroy steps back and let's Smyth get back to his feet. Smyth has his takedown stuffed and Leeroy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Smyth looking to control.
Leeroy gets to his feet - Smyth follows without any prompting. Leeroy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smyth, pushing him back against the cage. Leeroy on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Smyth has had enough of the clinch but Leeroy keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leeroy goes for a takedown attempt but Smyth pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Smyth misses with a takedown attempt so Leeroy counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smyth is working an open guard so Leeroy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Leeroy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smyth's guard. Bruce Leeroy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Leeroy trying to control the position from guard on top but Smyth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smyth is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Leeroy gets to his feet - Smyth follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Smyth. Nice sprawl there from Smyth as Leeroy shoots in. Leeroy shoots in but Smyth avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Leeroy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leeroy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Smyth.

Leeroy looks to score with a jab to the body but Smyth is just out of range. Leeroy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smyth manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smyth is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Leeroy's corner is telling him to maintain position. Bruce Leeroy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Leeroy stops Smyth from standing up. Leeroy throwing strikes from guard but Smyth blocks nicely. Leeroy stands up from Smyth's guard - Leeroy perhaps looking for a knockout. Dameon Smyth has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Smyth pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smyth throws a head kick that misses. Smyth misses with a leg kick and Leeroy counters with a straight right hand. Smyth throws a sloppy head kick and Leeroy counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smyth! Leeroy sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Leeroy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Smyth for as long as he can get away with.
And that's the end of the fight! Bruce Leeroy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Leeroy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
