The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green looks to land a left hand but Gagnetti moved out of range nicely.
Green throws the left hand but Gagnetti avoids the punch easily.
Green scores with a leg kick.

Gagnetti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Green sprawls well initially but Gagnetti persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Gagnetti tries to pass the half guard into mount. Green knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gagnetti prevents Green from improving his position.

Green looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Gagnetti is working for a kimura but Green is defending it quite comfortably.
Gagnetti wants to control but Green is keeping him busy.

Gagnetti is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Green sees it coming and defends easily.

Gagnetti wants to free his trapped foot but Green is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Green is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gagnetti shoots for a double leg takedown but Green sprawls well. He's pushed Gagnetti's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gagnetti swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gagnetti fails in his attempt to clinch.
Green lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gagnetti looks gassed!
Green scores with a jab. Gagnetti acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Green.
Gagnetti ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Gagnetti looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice straight punches there by Green. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Green.

Green bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gagnetti's head.
Gagnetti shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Green sprawls well. Green wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gagnetti gets slowly back to his feet.
Reggie Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gage Gagnetti.
Green throws a body punch but Gagnetti moves out of range.
Green fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gagnetti.
Gagnetti tries to close the distance and clinch up but Green swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Green lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Gagnetti slips a jab from Green.
Gagnetti thows a body shot but no joy.
Gagnetti on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Green fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Green throws a one two combo.
A decent looking cross lands there for Green.

Gagnetti checks a low kick from Green.
Gagnetti scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gagnetti throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Green misses with a hook. Gagnetti ducked under it nicely.
Green bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gagnetti's head.
Green thows a body kick. Gagnetti tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Reggie Green is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Green dips to his left and cracks Gagnetti with an uppercut!
Green misses with a few strikes there.
Green throws out a loose jab but Gagnetti uses good head movement to avoid it.
Gagnetti with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Green to score with a decent uppercut.
Green lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Green counters with a head kick that drops Gagnetti to the mat! Gagnetti scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Gagnetti is still on wobbly legs! Can Green finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Green flashes Gagnetti a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Gagnetti's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Gagnetti crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Green punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
