Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonas Justice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hakeem Bodman!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodman takes a kick to the side of the head.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Justice. Bodman shrugs it off though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Justice scores with a jab to the body.
Bodman looks gassed!
Justice cracks Bodman with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Justice has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bodman to stand back up!
Bodman is rocked!
It looks like Hakeem Bodman has been cut.
Justice fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Justice drops Bodman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bodman looks back up at him and smiles so Justice waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bodman is still on wobbly legs! Can Justice finish him?
A punch combination from Justice misses.
Bodman seems to have recovered his senses.
Justice sends Bodman crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Justice is motioning to the referee to let Bodman up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Bodman is rocked!
Justice explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Justice throws a right hand that Bodman ducks under and follows up with a left that Bodman also avoids with ease.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Justice.
Justice looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Justice lands with a nice combination. Bodman backs away looking to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Justice steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Bodman is out on his feet! Justice sets himself and nearly takes Bodman's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jonas Justice!
