Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keon Cash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Stevens!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cash clinches up against the cage.

Cash pulls guard successfully.
Stevens slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Stevens tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Cash is looking for a sweep.
Cash manages to work his way to half guard, despite Stevens's best efforts.
Stevens tries to pass to full mount but Cash defends it.
Stevens prevents Cash from improving his position.
Stevens stops Cash from getting back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cash lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Keon Cash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cash gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stevens.

Cash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Stevens avoids the head kick by Cash.

Stevens fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cash manages to avoid it.
Cash blocks a head kick by Stevens.
Stevens throws a head kick but Cash moves out of range.
Cash shoots in looking for a takedown. Stevens tries to sprawl out of it but Cash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stevens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cash looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stevens is fending him off so far but Cash persists. Nope, Stevens circles away and we're back to standing.
Stevens throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cash sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cash looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keon Cash. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cash is breathing heavily.
Stevens misses with a wild body shot.
Cash tries a head kick but it misses.
Stevens tries a low kick but Cash avoids it.

Cash rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stevens moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cash moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Cash misses with a head kick.
Cash is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Stevens ducks under a wild hook from Cash.
Cash tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stevens swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cash looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cash shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stevens as he jumps to the side.
No joy there for Stevens, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Stevens ducks right into an uppercut from Cash.


It looks like Lance Stevens has been cut.
Cash lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cash takes the fight into the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stevens tries to pull guard but Cash holds him up against the cage and eventually Stevens drops back down to his feet.
Cash content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Stevens jumps guard but Cash stands there with Stevens around his waist. Stevens gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Cash is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Cash lands a left hand.

Cash turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cash manages to end up in side control.
Stevens being controlled for a moment.

Cash is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stevens knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Cash misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cash is looking to take a break and control but Stevens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Cash is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Stevens will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Stevens manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cash not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Cash throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cash is looking to advance position but Stevens won't allow it.
Stevens is not content to let Cash control the position.
Stevens tries to roll over but Cash keeps him under control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keon Cash dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lance Stevens's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Cash will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cash drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Stevens manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stevens prevents Cash from getting the reversal.

Stevens is working for a guillotine from mount but Cash frees his head quite easily.

Stevens has hold of Cash's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cash manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Cash wants to hold on but Stevens pushes him away.
Cash is working to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Stevens manages to capitalize on a mistake by Cash to take his back!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cash trying to control the position but Stevens manages to sink in the hooks.

Cash is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cash won't enjoy being in this position. Stevens looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Cash is tapping - it's over boys! Stevens picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lance Stevens!
