Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Laurent Tsadyleba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Puakaw Bramuk! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Bramuk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bramuk avoids the head kick by Tsadyleba.
Bramuk wants to clinch up but Tsadyleba keeps it at a distance. Bramuk tries to clinch but Tsadyleba is having none of it. Tsadyleba scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tsadyleba passes to side control. Bramuk being controlled for a moment. Tsadyleba tries to move into full mount but can't pass Bramuk's legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bramuk is looking for a sweep. Tsadyleba decides to stand back up. Tsadyleba falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bramuk counters with a head kick that drops Tsadyleba to the mat! Tsadyleba scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Bramuk looks gassed! Tsadyleba closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Tsadyleba escapes and gets back to his feet. Bramuk wants to clinch up but Tsadyleba keeps it at a distance. Tsadyleba closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bramuk trying to remain calm as Tsadyleba controls from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsadyleba decides to stand back up. Tsadyleba throws a head kick that misses. Tsadyleba shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tsadyleba was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Tsadyleba tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Tsadyleba swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
