Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Gregor swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Williams lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Williams.
Gregor fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Williams closes the distance and pushes Gregor back into the ropes.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Gregor.
Gregor manages to break the clinch.
Gregor misses with a combination
and Williams counters by moving into the clinch.
Gregor breaks the clinch.
Williams misses with a double jab
and Gregor counters with a one-two to the body.
Williams is rocked!
Williams throws a nice looking combination but Gregor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Williams tries to keep at a distance but Gregor has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Williams counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Williams trying to control but Gregor is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Gregor didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Gregor. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gregor moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams fails with an attempt to clinch.
Williams scores a takedown into full mount!
Gregor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gregor is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Williams dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Williams clobbers Gregor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Gregor shoots in for a double leg but Williams sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gregor throws a leg kick
and Williams counters with a head kick. That will keep Gregor thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Gregor throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Williams counters with a takedown into side control.
Gregor is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the ropes but Williams has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Williams tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gregor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Williams asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Williams is looking to take a break and control but Gregor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Gregor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Ben Williams has got the better of the ground game so far.
Williams has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gregor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively.
Williams wants to clinch up but Gregor keeps it at a distance.
Gregor tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gregor keeps the fight on the outside.
Williams is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Williams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Williams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Williams wants to control the pace but Gregor is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Williams connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Gregor is squirming around, avoiding Williams's attempts to control the action.
Gregor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Gregor is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.
Williams slips a nice elbow through Gregor's hands, connecting with Gregor's forehead.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Williams wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Gregor uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Gregor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gregor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Williams wants to stand but Gregor is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gregor wants to sweep but no luck.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Williams showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Williams wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gregor tries to clinch there but Williams circles away.

and Williams counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gregor's guard now.
Williams won't allow Gregor to sweep him here.

Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Williams looking to sit in guard and control but Gregor gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Williams will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Williams can do anything to dispel that myth.

Williams takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gregor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Williams looking for a sweep. Not yet Williams, not yet.
Gregor is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Gregor stops Williams from standing up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Gregor shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Gregor will be more careful next time no doubt.
Gregor lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gregor changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Williams tries to avoid it but Gregor manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Williams to the ground. Williams escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ben Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Gregor has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
