Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Galbraith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Terry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Galbraith might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bodies. The key to victory for John Galbraith has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Galbraith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Terry! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terry slips a jab and a cross from Galbraith.
Terry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Galbraith, pushing him back against the ropes. Terry is trying to trip Galbraith. He has hold of a leg but Galbraith is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Terry persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Galbraith wants to stand and escape but Terry is having none of it. Terry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Galbraith is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Galbraith has escaped and now he's on top! Galbraith in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Terry wants to hit a switch here but Galbraith passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Terry there! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Galbraith is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Terry has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Terry!
That's one minute gone in the round. Terry tries to free his leg and advance position but Galbraith is retaining full guard. Terry lands a couple of digs. Galbraith being controlled here, momentarily. Terry wants to control from the top but Galbraith keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Terry is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. I looks like Terry might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Terry with a flurry of punches that miss. Galbraith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Terry must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Terry stands up over Galbraith, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Terry wants to control from the top but Galbraith keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terry postures up in Galbraith's guard and throws a big left but Galbraith blocks it. Terry pushes down on Galbraith's leg and manages to get into half guard. Terry wants to take a breather but Galbraith is having none of it. Ground and pound from Terry. Galbraith is trying to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Galbraith is looking to escape. Galbraith is breathing heavily. Terry is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Galbraith is not content to let Terry control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Terry might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Galbraith kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Terry dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Galbraith slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Galbraith lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Terry is looking to clinch. Terry stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Terry wants it to stay on the feet. Terry decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Terry seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Galbraith does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Terry throws a strike but Galbraith avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Terry scoring with punches to the head and body. Terry pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Galbraith is keeping the position for now. Terry is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Galbraith keeping moving, preventing Terry from controlling successfully. Terry landing some decent shots from guard. Galbraith can't keep his opponent in guard - Terry advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Galbraith wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Terry passes to full mount! Terry raining down shots from the mount! Terry connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Galbraith is trying to escape the mount.
Galbraith is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terry controlling the pace for now. Galbraith takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Terry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Terry working the ground and pound effectively.
Galbraith is in a horrible position here. Terry smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terry goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Galbraith is on top in guard.
Galbraith has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Terry is proving hard to escape from. Galbraith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Terry looking to sweep here. No luck so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jake Terry will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Galbraith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Galbraith avoids the head kick by Terry.
Galbraith stuffs the takedown. Galbraith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Terry shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Galbraith's guard. Terry trying to control but Galbraith is working from the bottom. Galbraith is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Galbraith working hard to break the clinch. Terry has had enough of the clinch but Galbraith keeps him there for the moment. Galbraith is trying to break free. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A frustrated look appears on Galbraith's face as he tries to break the clinch. Galbraith breaks the clinch.
Galbraith throws a series of punches but Terry moves out of range. Some wild striking there from Galbraith.
That's one minute gone in the round. Terry gets a clinch. Terry pulls guard effortlessly. Terry is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Terry is trying to control the position but Galbraith postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Terry is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jake Terry just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Galbraith throws a wild combination but nothing lands. John Galbraith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Galbraith looks to clinch and Terry counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Galbraith! You get the feeling that Galbraith really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Terry controlling the pace for now. Terry dominating with strikes here. Jake Terry has got the better of the ground game so far. Terry working Galbraith over with strikes here. Terry postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Galbraith looks a forlorn figure.
Terry takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Terry with shots to the head and body - Galbraith looks very uncomfortable down there. Galbraith blocking the ground and pound. Terry lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Galbraith is squirming around, avoiding Terry's attempts to control the action. Terry thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
And that's the end of the fight! Jake Terry comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Terry winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
