Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Frolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dmitry Frolov is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz is looking to clinch.
Diaz closes the distance and clinches.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Frolov has eaten all the pies!
Frolov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Diaz regains guard immediately.
Frolov throws a big right hand that misses.
Frolov has gone for a leg lock! Diaz slips out almost immediately though and dives into Frolov's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diaz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Frolov's head.
Diaz looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Frolov is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Diaz's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Diaz's back!
Frolov is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Diaz has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

and Frolov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Diaz won't be happy with that.

Diaz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Frolov was well out of range. Poor timing from Diaz.
Frolov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Diaz to the mat! Diaz manages to get full guard.
Frolov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Diaz looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Diaz trying to keep a closed guard but Frolov is proving a slippery customer.
Diaz has control of Frolov's left arm, preventing Frolov from doing any damage.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Frolov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Diaz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Diaz controls Frolov momentarily but Frolov frees himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Frolov moves in looking to clinch but Diaz pushes him off.

Diaz throws a sloppy head kick and Frolov moves out of range easily.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Frank Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz is trying to control Frolov's posture but Frolov avoids it.

Diaz seems a little lost for a moment, as Frolov dominates the positioning.
Frolov is looking to take a break and control but Diaz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Frolov creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Diaz sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Diaz takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Frolov throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Diaz works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.

Frolov wants to free his trapped foot but Diaz is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Diaz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Diaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Frolov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Diaz is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Frolov drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Frolov off! Frolov jumps back into Diaz's guard.
Diaz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Dmitry Frolov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Frolov winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
