Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Kliment (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Pears (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimitri Kliment! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frank Pears! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kliment tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kliment pushes Pears up against the cage in a clinch. Kliment is trying to force a seperation but Pears has the dominant position. Kliment is looking to break free of the clinch but Pears has double underhooks. Pears tries to break the clinch but Kliment is controlling the position. Kliment lands a body punch. Kliment is working for takedown but Pears is calmly controlling the position for now. Kliment breaks the clinch.
Kliment has closed the distance and engaged Pears in a clinch.
Kliment's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kliment misses with a double jab.

Pears tries to circle away but Kliment has him pinned against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Pears's face as he tries to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kliment throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Pears has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kliment escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Horrible takedown by Pears or perhaps it was just good defense by Kliment which made him look bad. Pears tries to clinch there but Kliment circles away.
Pears throws a lazy head kick and Kliment counters with a left and a right that stings Pears. Kliment looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kliment lands strikes from half guard. Kliment sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pears defending well though. Pears should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Kliment is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pears doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kliment. Kliment throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kliment uses his free foot to push down on Pears's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pears. Pears is trying desperately to improve position. Kliment jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Pears manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kliment working the ground and pound but Pears is defending the strikes. Pears is looking to regain half guard here but Kliment keeps moving and retains side control. Pears parries the strikes from Kliment easily there. Kliment is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pears to escape.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pears scores with a push kick. Kliment is breathing heavily. Kliment tries to close the distance and clinch but Pears swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A head kick by Pears misses and Kliment counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Pears tries to throw a body punch but Kliment avoids it by throwing Pears back against the cage. Pears tries to break free but Kliment pushes him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pears is looking to break free of the clinch but Kliment has double underhooks. Kliment really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Pears is trying to break free. Kliment breaks the clinch.

Dimitri Kliment seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kliment throws a series of punches but Pears avoids them all with ease. A head kick misses from Pears. Pears bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Pears looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kliment lands a nice shot that snaps Pears's head back.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kliment looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pears tries to clinch but Kliment is having none of it. Kliment gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kliment throws a lazy head kick and Pears counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Pears is defended easily by Kliment. Kliment throws a head kick but Pears moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kliment scores with a kick to the midsection. Kliment has Pears up against the cage in a clinch.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pears has eaten all the pies! Kliment keeps control of Pears as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Pears has had enough of the clinch but Kliment keeps him there for the moment. Kliment tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Pears looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kliment's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kliment throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Pears throws a head kick that misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kliment.

Kliment throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pears's waist but Pears gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kliment off to one side. Pears will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kliment moves into the clinch. Pears is trying to break the clinch but Kliment has him pressed against the cage. That's four minutes gone in the round. Pears looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kliment looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Pears wants to pass the guard but Kliment is keeping the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dimitri Kliment dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Kliment explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Pears gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kliment gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Pears regains guard.
Kliment landing with the ground and pound. Pears keeping moving, preventing Kliment from controlling successfully. Kliment throwing strikes from guard but Pears blocks nicely. Kliment is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pears working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kliment doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kliment manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kliment is looking to advance position but Pears has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Kliment is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Kliment is looking to get to half guard. Pears tries to control but Kliment wriggling away. Kliment wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Pears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pears scoring with strikes but Kliment is staying in there. Kliment slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kliment controlling the position well. Kliment wants to control but Pears is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pears seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kliment does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kliment has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pears is working away from the top position though. Pears is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kliment is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pears pulls his head out easily. Kliment actively working from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horrible takedown by Pears or perhaps it was just good defense by Kliment which made him look bad. Kliment fails with a takedown attempt. Pears scores with a one two! Kliment had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Dimitri Kliment is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kliment looks to land a body kick but Pears moved away. Kliment moves into the clinch. Frank Pears has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pears's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kliment drives through and clinches with Pears against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Dimitri Kliment showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kliment has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
