Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phillip Sauvage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charlie Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phillip Sauvage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charlie Stone! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sauvage shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stone's guard. Stone wants to stand and escape but Sauvage is having none of it. Sauvage postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it. Stone preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sauvage trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom. Sauvage tries to stand but Stone is controlling from the bottom. Sauvage drops back looking for a leg! Stone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stone manages to kick Sauvage off! Sauvage jumps back into Stone's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sauvage is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stone misses with a two punch combination.
Stone fails to land with a series of punches.
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sauvage. Sauvage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Stone circles away. Sauvage tries to clinch but Stone is having none of it. Sauvage fails with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sauvage blocks the body kick.
Sauvage decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Stone is defending against the submission attempts here by Sauvage.
Sauvage seems to be working for a kimura but Stone defends the submission attempt. Sauvage is breathing heavily. Sauvage is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sauvage is looking to take a break and control but Stone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sauvage looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Stone is defending against the submission attempts here by Sauvage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stone pushes Sauvage off looking to stand but Sauvage dives back in and keeps control.
Sauvage wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Sauvage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stone pinned against the cage. Stone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phillip Sauvage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sauvage fails to land the takedown. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sauvage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stone but Stone pushes him off and we're back to square one. Stone gets a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phillip Sauvage dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Sauvage wants to clinch. Sauvage takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Sauvage will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stone wants it to stay on the feet. No luck for Sauvage with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Phillip Sauvage. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone swinging wilding here.
Stone pushes Sauvage up against the cage in a clinch. Stone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sauvage looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stone is fending him off so far but Sauvage persists. Nope, Stone circles away and we're back to standing. Stone stuffs the takedown. Stone throws a head kick but Sauvage moves out of range.
Sauvage on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Stone lands with a kick to the temple. Sauvage shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Phillip Sauvage has been cut. Sauvage shoots in but Stone avoids the takedown attempt easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stone lands a left and a right that send Sauvage crashing to the mat, dazed. Stone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Sauvage is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stone fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sauvage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sauvage somewhat. Stone drops Sauvage with a big left hand! Sauvage is injured, injured bad! Stone jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charlie Stone!
