Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Stout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gidian Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stout comes to the cage accompanied by Slaughterhouse-Wack MC's. The crowd seem to be enjoying Stone's choice of entrance music: Overcome by All that Remains. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Edward Stout!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gidian Stone!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stout fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stone avoids it really well and circles away.
Stout shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Stout's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gidian Stone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stout shoots in but Stone avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edward Stout. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stone connects with the punch.
It looks like Edward Stout has been cut.
Stout closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stout lands in his opponent's guard.
Stout has gone for a leg lock! Stone slips out almost immediately though and dives into Stout's guard.
Stout working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Stout looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Stone passes into half guard.

Stout pushes Stone off but Stone dives into side control.
Stone decides to stand back up.
Stone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Stone looks to land a right hand but Stout moved out of range.
Stout really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stout fails to land the takedown.
Stone getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Stout is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stone throws a hook to the side of Stout's head but Stout sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab from Stout finds it's way through Stone's defenses.
Stone misses with an uppercut.
Stone just misses with a punch to the body.
Stone misses with a hook. Stout ducked under it nicely.
Stone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stout.
Stone feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stout sprawling to the canvas! Stout rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stone finish him?!
Oh Stout is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stone cracks Stout with a left hook right on the temple and Stout goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Stone lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Stout is OK!
