Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wes Barton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Stones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Linchpin. Stones has chosen T2 Theme by Austrian Death Machine as his entrance music. Damien Stones has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stones swats away the attempt to clinch by Barton.
Barton loads up on a big right hand but Stones slips the punch.
Stones takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Barton scores with a jab to the jaw.
Barton takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Barton moves out of range as Stones strikes.
Barton tries to clinch but Stones is having none of it.
Barton takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Stones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Stones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A nice leg kick lands there from Barton.
Stones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Barton cracks the inside of Stones's front leg.
Barton lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barton dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stones. That did some damage!

Barton looks to land a body kick but Stones moved away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Damien Stones seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Barton throws a hook but Stones blocks it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stones crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Barton - the referee stops the clock and Stones gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Barton. Stones manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Stones throws a hook to the side of Barton's head but Barton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Stones moves away from the strike by Barton.
Barton looks to land a body kick but Stones moved away.
Barton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Stones's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Stones tries to bum rush Barton with a series of wild strikes but Barton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Barton moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Stones takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Stones shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barton pinned against the cage. Barton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Barton takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Stones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
