Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gary Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manningham Snapple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snapple is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 50 Cent-I Get Money. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gary Todd! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Manningham Snapple! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Alyssa Summers and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snapple misses with a kick to the body.
Snapple stuffs the takedown attempt from Todd. Todd gets slowly back to his feet. Snapple misses with a hook. Snapple throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Todd has a takedown stuffed. Snapple misses with a hook. Todd ducked under it nicely. Todd looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snapple is fending him off so far but Todd persists. Nope, Snapple circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Todd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snapple misses the jab. Todd wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snapple, who protects the arm well. Todd is breathing heavily. Todd tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Todd has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snapple is trying to get back to half guard. Todd tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Snapple's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Snapple rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Todd's guard! Nice work there by Snapple! Snapple pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Todd is keeping the position for now. Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Snapple! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snapple tries to advance to mount but Todd denies him. Todd is trying to improve his position. Todd can't do much from the bottom here. Todd is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snapple swings around for an armbar but Todd sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Snapple's guard. Snapple throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Manningham Snapple will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Snapple fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A combination from Snapple does no damage. Manningham Snapple is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Todd shoots in for a double leg but Snapple sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Horrible takedown by Todd or perhaps it was just good defense by Snapple which made him look bad. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Snapple. Snapple throws a body punch but Todd moves out of range. Todd on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Todd is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Snapple is just riding it out for now. Todd eventually gives up the hold. Todd prevents Snapple from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Snapple is trying to stand up here but Todd is controlling him well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manningham Snapple showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A left and a right from Snapple both land. Nice combination. Todd displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Snapple throws out the jab. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Snapple lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Todd has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Todd and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Snapple misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Snapple thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Todd is looking for a sweep. Snapple staying calm.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Todd can't do much from the bottom here. Snapple misses with the ground and pound. Snapple goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Todd has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Snapple but great work by Todd. Todd is looking to take a break and control but Snapple is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Nice defenses there by Todd. Todd closes this distance looking for a takedown but Snapple circles away. Snapple looks to land a left hand but Todd moved out of range nicely. Todd throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Snapple's waist but Snapple gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Todd off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Todd. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snapple misses with a wild body shot. Todd takes one on the button. Snapple throws out a loose jab but Todd uses good head movement to avoid it. Snapple throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Snapple's guard. Todd looking to sit in guard and control but Snapple gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Snapple wants to control from the top but Todd keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Todd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Snapple is one step ahead there. Snapple working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Snapple in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Todd working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Snapple. Todd preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Snapple got a little sloppy there for a moment and Todd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snapple has managed to get both his arms back between Todd's legs - danger averted. Todd has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snapple can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Manningham Snapple dominated that fourth round. The cut man is working on Gary Todd's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Todd on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Snapple thows a body shot but no joy.

Todd has gone for a leg lock! Snapple slips out almost immediately though and dives into Todd's guard. Snapple is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Manningham Snapple is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Snapple wants to control from the top but Todd keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snapple gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Snapple stopping the sweep attempt from Todd. Todd has his foot on Snapple's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Snapple works his way back into a safe position though. Gary Todd overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Snapple showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Todd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Snapple works a leg free and moves into half guard. Snapple content to control rather than advance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Todd avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Snapple.
And that's the end of the fight! Manningham Snapple comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Snapple winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
