5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Steele! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steele's hands. John Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Steele's hands. Carter looks to score with a jab to the body but Steele is just out of range. Steele shoots for a double leg takedown but Carter sprawls well. He's pushed Steele's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Carter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Carter throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Carter seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Steele is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
