Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Bominski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvador Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Bominski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Salvador Cannon!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bominski checks a leg kick nicely.
Bominski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cannon tries to avoid it but Bominski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cannon to the ground. Cannon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cannon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cannon just misses with a punch to the body.
Cannon throws a chopping leg kick but Bominski manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bominski closes the distance and clinches up with Cannon, looking for a takedown. Bominski pushes Cannon against the cage but Cannon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cannon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bominski moves away.
Cannon throws a leg kick but Bominski moved away.
Cannon swings for the body but Bominski moves out of range.
Cannon digs a good body shot into Bominski's ribs.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bominski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bominski is defended easily by Cannon.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Bominski. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cannon looks to land a combination. Bominski sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Adam Bominski has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cannon misses with a body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cannon.
Bominski checks a low kick from Cannon.
Bominski doesn't manage to clinch there - Cannon circles away.
Cannon chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Bominski is breathing heavily.
Cannon throws a body punch but Bominski moves out of range.
Cannon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cannon takes a swing at Bominski's ribcage but misses.
A slapping leg kick lands for Cannon.
Cannon just misses with a punch to the body.

Bominski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cannon chips away with some ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cannon is working Bominski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cannon advances to half guard.
Cannon is keen to just control but Bominski is a slippery customer.
Cannon lands with a punch from half guard.


Adam Bominski's cut is getting worse.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cannon controlling the pace.
Bominski is staying active underneath Cannon, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bominski trying to control from the bottom.
Cannon lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.


Adam Bominski's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cannon connects with a nice short shot to Bominski's temple.


Jeez, Adam Bominski's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Adam Bominski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Salvador Cannon!
