Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johan Fransson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rypien (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fransson comes to the cage accompanied by Idas Sommarvisa. The crowd seem to be enjoying Rypien's choice of entrance music: The Ripper. Rick Rypien has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rypien scores with a jab.
Fransson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Fransson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Rypien swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Rypien throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fransson throws out a loose jab but Rypien uses good head movement to avoid it.
A jab from Rypien misses.
Rypien scores with a jab to the jaw.
Fransson is rocked!
It looks like Johan Fransson has been cut.
Rypien scores with the left hand. Fransson knows he should have avoided that one.
Oh Fransson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rypien drops Fransson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fransson! Rypien dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Rypien!
