Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Choa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bukaw Pomruk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bukaw Pomruk is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Choa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bukaw Pomruk! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Choa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Choa showed some decent athleticism there. Pomruk looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Choa is taking a breather. Pomruk says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Choa is nestled in close to Pomruk, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Pomruk is not content to let Choa control the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Pomruk has hold of Choa's hands but Choa slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Choa is trying to control. Pomruk wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Choa landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Choa working over Pomruk with some ground and pound. Pomruk looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Choa is trying to work for a kimura but Pomruk is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Pomruk has hold of Choa's hands but Choa slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Pomruk regains full guard. Nicely done. Choa stands and steps away. Pomruk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pomruk is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Pomruk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Choa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pomruk tries to clinch up but Choa circles away and keeps his distance. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. That's two minutes gone in the round. Choa stands up over Pomruk, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Pomruk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Choa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Choa thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pomruk looking for a sweep. Not yet Pomruk, not yet. Choa trying to control but Pomruk is working from the bottom. Pomruk looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Choa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pomruk swivels though and keeps the full guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Choa moves in looking to clinch but Pomruk pushes him off. Choa closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pomruk did well to prevent Choa getting side control. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Pomruk is not content to let Choa control the position.
