Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Baum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Callahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baum comes to the cage accompanied by Eye of the Tiger. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Baum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Callahan! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Callahan is looking to clinch. Callahan shoots in looking for a takedown. Baum tries to sprawl out of it but Callahan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Callahan has a takedown stuffed. A head kick misses from Baum. Callahan throws a series of punches but Baum moves out of range. Callahan scores with the left hand. Baum knows he should have avoided that one. Baum tries to close the distance and clinch but Callahan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Baum fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Callahan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Callahan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Callahan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baum manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Callahan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baum wants to stand and escape but Callahan is having none of it. Baum preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Callahan looking to pass the guard. Callahan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Callahan won't allow Baum to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Callahan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Callahan. Callahan looks to clinch and Baum counters with a head kick. That will keep Callahan thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Callahan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Baum moves into the clinch. Baum breaks the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Baum tries to clinch but Callahan is having none of it. Callahan closes the distance looking to clinch and Baum counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Baum. Baum makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Baum escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baum closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Baum wants the takedown. Callahan is fighting it off but Baum persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Callahan's guard against the cage. Callahan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Baum missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Baum preventing the sweep. Callahan looking to control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Callahan can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Baum stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Callahan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Baum is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Baum forces his way into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Callahan closes the distance and clinches up with Baum, looking for a takedown. Callahan pushes Baum against the cage but Baum circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Callahan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baum but Baum pushes him off and we're back to square one. Callahan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baum avoids it really well and circles away. Adam Baum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Callahan. Baum lands a high kick!
It looks like Peter Callahan has been cut. Callahan shoots in for a double leg but Baum sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Peter Callahan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baum moves into the clinch. Callahan is breathing heavily. Baum manages to break the clinch.
Baum drives through and clinches with Callahan against the cage.

Baum with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Baum lands an uppercut. Baum escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Callahan shoots in but Baum avoids the takedown attempt easily. Adam Baum is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Baum fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Baum has Callahan up against the cage in a clinch.

Baum is looking to clinch. Callahan with a poor takedown and Baum counters with a flying knee. Nice. Baum fails with the takedown and Callahan counters with a single leg into guard. Baum didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Baum keeping moving, preventing Callahan from controlling successfully. Callahan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Callahan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Baum is trying to control the position but Callahan postures up. Callahan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Callahan shoots in but no luck this time. Baum throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Callahan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baum as he avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Baum looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Baum looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Baum moves in looking to clinch but Callahan pushes him off. Callahan misses with a takedown and Baum counters with a flying knee. Nice. Callahan fails to land the takedown. Callahan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Baum counters with a takedown into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A lull in the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Callahan moves out of range of the body kick. Baum with a poor takedown and Callahan makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Callahan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baum as he jumps to the side. Baum is looking to clinch but Callahan is avoiding it.
Callahan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Baum avoids it really well and circles away. Callahan takes a kick to the side of the head. Callahan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Baum holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Baum has his takedown stuffed and Callahan counters with a single leg into guard. Baum didn't expect that. Callahanis looking to pass into half guard but Baum pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Baum is in guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Callahan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Baum has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
