Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between UBC Tan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, UBC Tan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Miller! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tan tries a head kick but it misses.
Tan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Miller's head. Tan stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken. Miller fails in his attempt to clinch. Tan circles away from the clinch attempt.
A head kick misses from Tan. Tan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Miller throws an overhand right that lands on Tan's shoulder, as Tan tries to avoid the shot. Tan looks to land a body kick but Miller moved away. A jab lands there for Tan. Miller wants to clinch. Tan tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A right-left combo lands from Tan. Tan throws a body kick that misses. Miller gets a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tan is looking to escape. Miller is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Poor strikes thrown by Miller there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Miller misses with a head shot. Miller controlling from the full mount. I looks like Miller might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller unloads with some shots from mount but Tan bucks and avoids them well.

Tan is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tan wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Miller.
Miller looking for a guillotine from mount but Tan is having none of it. Tan is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Miller controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that UBC Tan will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Tan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tan wants it to stay on the feet. Nice body punch from Tan. Tan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Tan misses with a few strikes there.
Tan lands a with a good body shot. Miller misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Tan connects with a looping right hand.
Tan is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Tan jabs at Miller's body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Miller swinging wilding here.
Tan throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tan stalks Miller and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miller's face. Miller staggers backwards, shaken. Miller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Miller passes Tan's left leg - he's now in half guard. Miller controlling the pace. Let's hope that Miller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Tan could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Miller has cracked it and Tan is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Miller!
