Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Henning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henning has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Lane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Axel Henning! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane connects with a looping right hand.
Henning looks gassed! Lane tries a head kick but it misses.
Lane shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Lane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lane lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lane landing shots from mount. Lane tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Lane get's back to his feet. Lane shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Henning defends it nicely. Henning gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane wants to control from the top but Henning keeps moving. Lane trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lane missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Henning can't keep his opponent in guard - Lane advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Lane seems to be working for a kimura but Henning defends the submission attempt. Henning on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lane wants to control but Henning is keeping him busy. Lane works his way into full mount! Lane with good strikes from the mount here! Lane with good strikes from the mount here! Lane with shots to the head and body - Henning looks very uncomfortable down there. Henning is trying desperately to improve position. Henning is squirming around, avoiding Lane's attempts to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Henning is forced to tap! Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Michael Lane!
