Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mazolli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mazolli kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bang by Jadakiss. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tony Mazolli! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Michael Coleman! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mazolli throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Coleman. The fight stays on the outside here - Coleman looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mazolli has taken the fight to the clinch.
Coleman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mazolli just stands there and leans against the cage. Mazolli is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Coleman gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Coleman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mazolli pulls him back up using the underhooks. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Mazolli. A short uppercut from Mazolli. Mazolli has Coleman pressed against the cage.
Mazolli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Coleman looks for a takedown but Mazolli sprawls well. Tony Mazolli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Coleman. Left hook, right uppercut from Mazolli. Coleman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mazolli was covering up waiting for the punch and Coleman finishes the takedown easily into guard. Coleman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mazolli keeping moving, preventing Coleman from controlling successfully. Coleman throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mazolli works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Coleman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mazolli keeping full guard, as Coleman tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Coleman trying to control but Mazolli is working from the bottom. Mazolli has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mazolli is breathing heavily. Coleman gets to his feet. Mazolli looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Coleman fails with a takedown attempt. Coleman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mazolli is fending him off so far but Coleman persists. Nope, Mazolli circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Mazolli which made him look bad. Mazolli really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Mazolli sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Tony Mazolli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mazolli darts in and clinches Coleman up against the cage. Mazolli gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Coleman looking for a sweep. Not yet Coleman, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mazolli stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mazolli rushes Coleman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mazolli lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mazolli. Mazolli manages to break the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman tries to clinch up and Mazolli counters by clinching up. Coleman is trying to break the clinch but Mazolli is controlling him. Mazolli manages to break the clinch.
A nice inside leg kick there by Coleman. That's going to slow Mazolli down. Coleman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coleman tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Mazolli counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Coleman's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mazolli decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Coleman, up you get!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Mazolli changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Coleman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Coleman is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Mazolli dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mazolli fails with the takedown. Coleman stalks Mazolli and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mazolli's face. Mazolli staggers backwards, shaken. Mazolli defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Coleman. Coleman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mazolli on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Mazolli slaps away a takedown attempt from Coleman, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mazolli has managed to clinch.
Coleman fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Tony Mazolli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Coleman. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Coleman is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Mazolli has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Coleman uses from the top position. Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Mazolli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Coleman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Coleman postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mazolli is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Coleman, into his guard. Coleman is trying to control the position but Mazolli postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Coleman wants to control the position but Mazolli says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Coleman manages to get to full guard.
Coleman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mazolli controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mazolli won't allow Coleman to sweep him here. Coleman has an active guard here but Mazolli has managed to pass into half guard.
Mazolli is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Coleman is trying to control but can't.
Coleman is looking for a sweep. Mazolli is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Mazolli controlling the pace. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Coleman trying to control from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Mazolli dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Coleman shoots in for a takedown but Mazolli shows good takedown defense. Coleman tries to clinch and Mazolli counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mazolli is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Mazolli controlling from the full mount. Coleman tries to hold on but Mazolli pushes him away. Coleman keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman is looking to improve his position but Mazolli isn't that keen on the idea. Coleman tries to hold on but Mazolli postures up. Mazolli content just to control the position here. Coleman is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Mazolli controlling the pace for now. Mazolli prevents Coleman from getting the reversal.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Coleman trying to control the position from guard on top but Mazolli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tony Mazolli is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mazolli is pulling down on Coleman's head to control his posture. Coleman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coleman is defended easily by Mazolli. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Tony Mazolli showed his dominance in that final round. Well Mazolli has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
