Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Hawkings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Shawn Hawkings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Slice instigates a clinch.
A body shot lands from Hawkings.

Slice breaks the clinch.
Slice doesn't manage to clinch there - Hawkings circles away.

Hawkings closes the distance and clinches.

Hawkings breaks the clinch.
Hawkings throws a nice looking combination but Slice bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hawkings uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Slice has time to react.

Hawkings has closed the distance and engaged Slice in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Hawkings.

Hawkings wants the takedown. Slice is fighting it off but Hawkings persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Slice's guard against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slice pushes a forearm under Hawkings's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hawkings is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
