And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vassell misses with a looping right.
A punch combination from Piere misses.
Piere explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Piere takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Georges Piere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vassell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Vassell looks to land a body kick but Piere moved away.
Vassell avoids the head kick by Piere.
Vassell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Piere but Piere pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vassell lands a jab-cross combination.
Good leg kick by Piere there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Vassell avoids the head kick by Piere.
Piere throws a leg kick which misses Vassell's front leg but catches the back leg as Vassell tries to avoid it.
Piere lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vassell circles away quickly and effectively.
Vassell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Vassell throws a lazy right hand but Piere sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Vassell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Piere throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vassell steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Piere. That one must have hurt.
Vassell lands a left and a right that send Piere crashing to the mat, dazed. Vassell thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Piere is rocked!
Vassell cracks Piere with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
