Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Snookie Stallion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Irwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Snookie Stallion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenny Irwin! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stallion shoots in for a double leg but Irwin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Irwin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Stallion wants a takedown.
Irwin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stallion shoots in looking for a takedown. Irwin tries to sprawl out of it but Stallion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Irwin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snookie Stallion. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Stallion with that takedown attempt. Stallion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Irwin is trying to control but Stallion passes into side control!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Irwin closes the distance and lands a one-two. Irwin rushes Stallion and presses him up against the cage. Irwin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Irwin manages to end up in side control. This has been an exciting period of action! Irwin decides to take the fight back to the feet. Stallion shoots in and drives through. Irwin sprawls well. Irwin scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Stallion fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Irwin tries to clinch there but Stallion circles away.

Stallion scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Irwin tries to improve position but can't. Stallion decides to stand up, so the ref orders Irwin to his feet. Irwin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stallion is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Irwin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Irwin's back! I would not like to be Irwin right now.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Stallion's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Stallion has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Irwin. Stallion trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Irwin doesn't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Irwin has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Irwin fending off the submission attempt from Stallion. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Irwin is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Stallion gets his way!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stallion working for a choke but Irwin is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Snookie Stallion will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Irwin manages to end up in side control. Stallion is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Irwin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Irwin is trying to control the action in half guard but Stallion is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stallion avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Irwin. Irwin throwing shots but Stallion is blocking nicely. Stallion wants to control but Irwin is keeping busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Stallion will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Irwin is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Irwin tries to buck Stallion off but Stallion is having none of it. Irwin is not content to let Stallion control the position. Stallion wants to control from the top but Irwin keeps moving.

Stallion misses with a takedown and Irwin counters with an inside leg kick. Stallion closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Irwin stops Stallion from passing to mount. Irwin sneaks out the side door and pushes Stallion away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
