Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quan Raiden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Marcel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marcel's choice of entrance music: city of angels. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcel throws a push kick but Raiden slaps the foot to one side.
Raiden lands a nice leg kick that just misses Marcel's sensitive parts.

Raiden stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Marcel.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Raiden crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Marcel - the referee stops the clock and Raiden gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Marcel. Raiden manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Marcel in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Jesse Marcel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Marcel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
