Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Armstrong comes into the arena with Mudvayne blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Eddie Brooks enters the cage!

Armstrong tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Armstrong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brooks gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brooks loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Brooks postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Armstrong is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brooks, into his guard.
Armstrong wants to get up but he can't break Brooks's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Armstrong is breathing heavily.
Brooks lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Armstrong!
Brooks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Brooks is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Armstrong has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Brooks cracks Armstrong with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
