The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Dzikot Gitowski has been cut.
Emelianenko swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Gitowski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but Gitowski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gitowski wants to control the pace but Emelianenko is squirming around nicely.
Gitowski is really struggling to control Emelianenko but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Gitowski could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Emelianenko is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's time! Gitowski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gitowski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Emelianenko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gitowski somewhat.

Emelianenko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Emelianenko.

and Gitowski counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Emelianenko's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gitowski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Emelianenko is squirming around, avoiding Gitowski's attempts to control the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Dzikot Gitowski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Emelianenko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Fjodor Emelianenko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Emelianenko wants to land a leg kick but Gitowski is out of range.
Gitowski fails to land the takedown.

Gitowski is looking to take a break and control but Emelianenko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gitowski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Emelianenko is not content to let Gitowski control the position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dzikot Gitowski will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Gitowski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Emelianenko takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Emelianenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gitowski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Emelianenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gitowski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gitowski is pushing down on Emelianenko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Emelianenko is fighting to maintain full guard but Gitowski has managed to sneak the leg through.
Emelianenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
