Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mattias Ramh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mattias Ramh!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramh doesn't manage to clinch there - Parker circles away.
Ramh misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Parker feints and as Ramh raises his hands in defense, Parker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Parker wants to pass the guard but Ramh is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ramh wants to sweep but no luck.
Ramh can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Parker controls the pace.
Ramh trying to keep a closed guard but Parker is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ramh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Ramh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Parker defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ramh shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Parker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A punch combination from Ramh misses.
Ramh throws a nice looking combination but Parker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ramh throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ramh looks gassed!

Parker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ramh is trying to maintain the position but Parker is very close to passing his half guard.
Ramh is doing well to control the position and prevent Parker from advancing to side control.

Ramh wants to get back to his feet.
Parker seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ramh wants to improve his position but Parker is controlling well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Parker throws a series of punches but Ramh avoids them all with ease.
Mattias Ramh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ramh tries for a takedown but Parker circles away easily
and Parker counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Parker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ramh misses with an elbow from the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ramh tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control.
Ramh is breathing heavily.
Ramh missing with punches from the bottom.

Ramh is trying to maintain the position but Parker is very close to passing his half guard.

Ramh is trying to get back to full guard.
Parker sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Ramh has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Parker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Ramh looking for a sweep. Not yet Ramh, not yet.
Ramh is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Parker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ramh wants to stand up but Parker is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramh is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Parker has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ramh is looking to reverse the position.
Ramh wants to control but Parker postures up.
Ramh takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Parker moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Ramh is trying to get back to half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Parker controls the position.
Ramh struggling a bit here.
Parker taking a breather here.
Frank Parker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well Parker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
