PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Duggan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anus Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duggan kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tiesto- Escape Me. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duggan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Man is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Man is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Man has eaten all the pies!
Man manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Duggan is in all sorts of trouble here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Man wants to free his trapped foot but Duggan is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Man closes the distance and pushes Duggan back into the cage.
Duggan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Man walks away with a smile on his face. Duggan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Man shoots for a double leg takedown but Duggan sprawls well. He's pushed Man's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A slow jab from Man misses its intended target.

Duggan is refusing to be controlled, as Man sits in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Man passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Duggan!

Man stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Duggan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Man fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Duggan, pushing him back against the cage.
Duggan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Man is defending well for now.

Man tries to score a body lock takedown but Duggan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Man jumps guard and drags Duggan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Man has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Man pulls Duggan in to control the position.

Anus Man showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Duggan throws a shot from downtown. Man moves away and avoids it.

Man manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
