Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buraian Cade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MC Gusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gusto has chosen Straight Outta Locash as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Eddie Farnsworth and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cade throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Gusto lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Cade has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Cade and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Cade throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Gusto closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cade tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Gusto has good solid back control here.

Let's hope that Gusto has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Gusto controlling well, preventing Cade from escaping the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
I would not like to be Cade right now.

Gusto patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Cade trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Gusto controlling the positon.

Despite being in the dominant position, MC Gusto just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cade chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Gusto looks gassed!
A solid leg kick lands there for Cade.
Gusto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Good leg kick by Cade there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Cade bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gusto sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cade tries a head kick but it misses.
Cade lands with a nice body punch.
Cade moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

It looks like MC Gusto has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Gusto.
Cade scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Buraian Cade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cade misses with the combination.
Cade throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Cade dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gusto gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cade moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cade fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Buraian Cade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gusto slips a straight right by Cade.
Gusto shoots in but Cade avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gusto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cade cracks Gusto with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gusto on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Cade. Cade obviously looking to wear him down.

A slow jab from Cade misses its intended target.

Gusto tries to clinch up but Cade circles away and keeps his distance.

Gusto forces Cade back against the cage and clinches.
Cade is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Cade unloads a knee to the mid-section. Gusto lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Gusto tries to pull guard but Cade holds him up against the cage and eventually Gusto drops back down to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cade trying to control the position from guard on top but Gusto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cade has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Cade wants to stand but Gusto has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cade throws a series of punches but Gusto moves out of range.

Cade connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gusto. Gusto circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Gusto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cade paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A punch combination from Cade misses.
Cade uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gusto.

Gusto shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Cade is staying active underneath Gusto, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Gusto thows a huge punch but Cade dodges it nicely.
Cade tries to get to full guard but Gusto has control of the leg.
Gusto is looking to advance position but Cade won't allow it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Well, if Gusto is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cade lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Cade lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cade cracks Gusto with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gusto shoots for a double leg takedown but Cade sprawls well. He's pushed Gusto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Gusto on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Cade scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Gusto is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gusto throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Cade because Gusto loaded up on that one.
