The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gustavsson gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Gustavsson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Minutsak defends it easily.

Minutsak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gustavsson tries to clinch but Minutsak is having none of it.
Minutsak lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Minutsak.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Minutsak is pushing Gustavsson's head away, looking to escape. Gustavsson manages to hold on to the position though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Alexander Gustavsson will probably get the nod.

Gustavsson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Minutsak is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gustavsson to the mat. Gustavsson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
