Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wendell Sailor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sailor avoids the body shot from Slade.
Slade misses with a looping left.
Sailor ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Slade walks into a left hand.
It looks like Jason Slade has been cut.
Slade thows a left - swing and a miss!
Slade throws a hook but Sailor avoids it easily.
Sailor cracks Slade with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sailor has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slade to stand back up!
Slade is rocked!
A big left from Slade misses.
Slade is still on wobbly legs! Can Sailor finish him?
Sailor throws a hook but Slade avoids it easily.
Sailor missing with a left hand there. Slade was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sailor throws an overhand right that lands on Slade's shoulder, as Slade tries to avoid the shot.
Sailor turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Slade looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sailor misses with a straight left.
Slade seems to have recovered his senses.
Sailor drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Slade right on the button. Slade goes down! Sailor follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Sailor gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wendell Sailor!
