Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Smaash Destroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Kobashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kenta Kobashi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Smaash Destroy's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Smaash Destroy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kenta Kobashi!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destroy moves in looking to clinch but Kobashi pushes him off.

Destroy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kobashi to score an easy takedown into full guard.

The fight stays on the outside here - Destroy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's time! Destroy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Kobashi is taking a breather. Destroy says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
