Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harold Cheese!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Raiser!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cheese gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Cheese utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cheese has Raiser pulled in close to control his posture.

Cheese is looking for a triangle but Raiser pushes his legs off easily.

Cheese looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Raiser is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cheese is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cheese has escaped and now he's on top!

Raiser preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Cheese stopping the sweep attempt from Raiser.
Cheese sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cheese wants to pass the guard but Raiser is keeping the position.
Raiser striking off his back but it's not causing Cheese any problems.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Raiser is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cheese sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Raiser misses with a two punch combination.
Raiser throws a sloppy head kick and Cheese moves out of range easily.
Cheese tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Raiser paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Raiser closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Raiser gets a trip takedown into half guard.

Raiser is working for a kimura but Cheese is defending it quite comfortably.
Raiser is thwarting Cheese's attempts to control the position.

Cheese looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Raiser is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cheese doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Raiser.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Raiser is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Raiser is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Cheese still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Cheese has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Raiser tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Cheese tries to clinch but Raiser moves out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Raiser throws a chopping leg kick but Cheese manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Raiser looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cheese is fending him off so far but Raiser persists. Nope, Cheese circles away and we're back to standing.
Cheese keeps the fight on the outside.
Cheese misses with a takedown

and Raiser counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Cheese is defending against the submission attempts here by Raiser.

Raiser seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cheese does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Cheese wants to improve his position but Raiser is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tony Raiser dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Raiser swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Raiser throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Raiser shoots and misses

and Cheese counters with a takedown into side control.

Cheese tries for a kimura but Raiser is defending well.
Raiser is trying to improve his position.
Cheese landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Harold Cheese overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Raiser is not content to let Cheese control the position.
Raiser tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cheese wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Raiser's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Cheese has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Raiser is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cheese yanks on the arm and Raiser is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cheese.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Harold Cheese!
