The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xavier throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Hook shoots for a double leg takedown but Xavier sprawls well. He's pushed Hook's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Xavier rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hook moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Xavier stalks Hook and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hook's face. Hook staggers backwards, shaken.
Xavier stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Xavier wants it to stay on the feet.

Xavier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hook avoids a punch combination nicely.

Hook drops back looking for a leg! Xavier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Xavier manages to kick Hook off! Hook jumps back into Xavier's guard.

Hook drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hook seems to have locked his on tight now - Xavier screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hook, as he picks up the win!
