Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between chris fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ackmud Muhammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammad darts in and clinches fu up against the ropes.
fu is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.
fu tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
fu tries to score a body lock takedown but Muhammad shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for chris fu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Muhammad manages to pull guard.
fu wants to pass the guard but Muhammad is keeping the position.
fu will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
fu throwing strikes from guard but Muhammad blocks nicely.
fu passes Muhammad's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

fu wants to pass the guard but Muhammad is keeping the position.

Muhammad manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. fu manages to get himself to full guard.

fu is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

fu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Muhammad is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. fu Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Muhammad's back instead.
Muhammad is trying to stand back up.
Muhammad trying to control the hands but fu breaks the grip.
Muhammad tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Muhammad is desperately trying to improve his position but fu has a good base and remains in mount.
Muhammad's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Muhammad really doesn't want to stay on the ground with fu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Muhammad manages to regain half guard. Good work.
