Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Murder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Heith Jardine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jardine's choice of entrance music: Cant Be Touched. Red Murder has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Red Murder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Heith Jardine! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jardine has closed the distance and engaged Murder in a clinch.
Murder tries to break the clinch but Jardine is controlling the position. Jardine keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Murder's efforts to push away. Murder is trying to force a seperation but Jardine has the dominant position. Jardine breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Murder closes the distance and lands a one-two. Jardine feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jardine controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jardine trying to control but Murder is working from the bottom. Murder is trying to control the position but Jardine postures up. Jardine trying to control but Murder is working from the bottom. Jardine is looking to stand up but Murder won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murder is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Murder is trying to control the position but Jardine postures up. Murder is adopting a defensive guard. Murder is breathing heavily. Jardine won't allow Murder to sweep him here. Jardine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Murder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Jardine connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Jardine clinches up with Murder and pushes him back against the cage. Jardine drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Jardine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Murder, pushing him back against the cage. Jardine using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.

Jardine darts in and clinches Murder up against the cage. Jardine's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jardine darts in and clinches Murder up against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jardine tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Murder just stands there and leans against the cage. Red Murder has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heith Jardine. Murder tries to break the clinch but Jardine is controlling the position. Jardine pulls guard effortlessly. Murder postures up.
Murder prevents Jardine from getting back to his feet. Murder wants to get up but he can't break Jardine's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jardine is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murder wants to control from the top but Jardine keeps moving. Jardine bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Murder's guard. Jardine is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Jardine must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jardine postures up.
Jardine stops Murder from standing up. Jardine stands up from Murder's guard - Jardine perhaps looking for a knockout. A punch combination from Murder misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jardine changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murder looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Murder dodges the ground and pound from Jardine. Jardine has control of an arm but Murder manages to advance to Jardine's back! Jardine can't escape the position.
Murder trying to control. Murder lands shots from the back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Murder gets his hands free as Jardine looks to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heith Jardine dominated that round. That's time! Murder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jardine wants to pass the guard but Murder is defending well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jardine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Murder doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jardine. Murder looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murder wants to control but Jardine is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jardine throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jardine keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jardine wants to free his trapped foot but Murder is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jardine slips a jab and a cross from Murder.
Jardine thuds his shin into the meat of Murder's side. Murder dodges the punch combination from Jardine.
Jardine fails to land the takedown. Jardine shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Murder is trying to defend but Jardine finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Murder is trying to stand back up but Jardine is controlling him

That's three minutes gone in the round. Murder keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Murder regains full guard. Nicely done. Murder wants to stand and escape but Jardine is having none of it. Jardine is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Jardine with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jardine trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jardine should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jardine trying to control the position from guard on top but Murder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jardine decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Murder, up you get! Jardine tries to clinch but Murder is having none of it. Jardine shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Red Murder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Murder circles away from the clinch attempt.
A swing and a miss from Murder. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jardine drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Murder is trying to keep Jardine in close.

Red Murder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jardine closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Jardine is thwarting Murder's attempts to control the position. Murder wants to get back to full guard. Murder gets full guard. Murder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jardine's guard.
