Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem-Not Afraid. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner throws a nice outside leg kick.
Turner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it.
Alexander ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Turner moves away.
A head kick misses from Turner.
Alexander blocks a head kick by Turner.
A combination from Alexander does no damage.
Turner throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Alexander looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Alexander looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
It looks like Mike Turner has been cut.
Alexander is just content to waste time from the top position. Turner takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Alexander throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Turner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Turner keeping moving, preventing Alexander from controlling successfully.
Alexander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Turner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Turner is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Turner falls off balance throwing a combination
and Turner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Alexander moves out of range of the strikes.

Mike Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Turner throws a leg kick
and Alexander counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alexander is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Turner defends it well.
Alexander is controlling the pace.
Alexander wants to control but Turner is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alexander is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Turner doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Alexander.
Alexander is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Turner is looking to escape.
Turner is refusing to be controlled, as Alexander sits in half guard.
Alexander is looking for a kimura but Turner is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Alexander to get the leverage.
Turner is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Alexander scores with a couple of nice shots.

Alexander slips a nice elbow through Turner's hands, connecting with Turner's forehead.

Turner tries to get to full guard but Alexander has control of the leg.
Alexander lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Turner is controlling Alexander's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Turner is trying to stand back up but Alexander is controlling him
Alexander wants to free his trapped foot but Turner is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Turner trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Alexander manages to pass to mount!
Alexander is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Alexander!
