Emelianenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Planet Hell. Junior Velasquez has the better chin. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Velasquez.
Velasquez shoots in but no luck this time.
Velasquez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Emelianenko.
Velasquez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Emelianenko avoids it really well and circles away.
Fedor Emelianenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Velasquez.
Velasquez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Emelianenko could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Velasquez looks gassed!
Emelianenko lands a big uppercut and Velasquez crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Velasquez looks OK. Emelianenko waves Velasquez back to his feet!
It looks like Junior Velasquez has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Velasquez displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Emelianenko throws out the jab.
Emelianenko throws an uppercut from hell that sends Velasquez clean off his feet! He's out cold! Emelianenko stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
