Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Nastula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and vladimir vokitichikonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nastula comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton 40-1. vladimir vokitichikonov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula tries to close the distance and clinch but vokitichikonov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice takedown defense from vokitichikonov. No joy for Nastula on that attempt.
Nastula tries to land a leg kick but vokitichikonov saw it coming and moves away.

vokitichikonov scores a takedown into full mount!
vokitichikonov trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Nastula on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nastula tries to get out of the position.
Nastula is in a horrible position here. vokitichikonov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Nastula is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
vokitichikonov tries to control but Nastula wriggling away.
You get the feeling that Nastula really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Nastula somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

vokitichikonov rushes Nastula and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
vokitichikonov wants a takedown but no success here.

vokitichikonov is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Nastula can't fight it off and eventually vokitichikonov manages to take the fight to the floor. Nastula looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Nastula utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Nastula manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Nastula wants to clinch up but vokitichikonov keeps it at a distance.

vokitichikonov darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Nastula is breathing heavily.
vokitichikonov is trying to control the action in half guard but Nastula is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
vokitichikonov performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

vokitichikonov is keen to just control but Nastula is a slippery customer.

vokitichikonov is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Nastula sees it coming and defends easily.
Nastula knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for vokitichikonov on the ground.
Nastula is trying to stand back up but vokitichikonov is controlling him
vokitichikonov tries to pass to full mount but Nastula defends it.
vokitichikonov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Nastula's head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
vokitichikonov is controlling the pace.
vokitichikonov passes the guard and advances to mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, vokitichikonov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
vokitichikonov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

vladimir vokitichikonov dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

vokitichikonov fails with the takedown

and Nastula counters with a nice double leg into side control. vokitichikonov won't be happy with that.
vokitichikonov gets back to half guard.
vokitichikonov is trying to control but can't.
vokitichikonov moves into full guard.
Nastula scoring with punches to the head and body.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nastula lands a couple of decent looking shots.
vokitichikonov controls Nastula momentarily but Nastula frees himself.

vokitichikonov is looking to sinch up a triangle. Nastula throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to vokitichikonov's body to avoid the submission. vokitichikonov has instead reached around Nastula's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! vokitichikonov arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
