Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George circles away from the clinch attempt.
George moves out of range of the body kick from ppp.
George misses with the body kick
and ppp counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in George's guard now.
George wants to stand and escape but ppp is having none of it.
ppp controlling from the top position.
ppp won't allow George to get back to his feet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as ppp accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
ppp slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
George kicks ppp off and gets to his feet.

Chicken George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

ppp shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as George sprawls well. George wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. ppp gets slowly back to his feet.
ppp drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
George is not content to let ppp control the position.
George wants to get back to his feet but ppp drags him back down.

George stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and George wants it to stay on the feet.

ppp pulls out of a head kick attempt.
George throws the kick towards the body but ppp avoids it.
ppp shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. George defends it nicely.
ppp throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around George's waist but George gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing ppp off to one side.
George bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps ppp's head backwards.
George lands a with a good body shot.
George misses with a series of wild punches.
George throws a combination. ppp tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
George scores with a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
ppp tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
George throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
George scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. ppp doesn't seem bothered though.
ppp tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but George swivels and escapes.

ppp is looking to take a break and control but George is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
George is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but ppp has just dragged him back down to the mat.

BOOM! ppp connects with a massive shot to the dome!
You get the feeling that George really doesn't like being in this position too much.
ppp takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
George is squirming around, avoiding ppp's attempts to control the action.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
George is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

George is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

George lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by George.

George lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but ppp circles away quickly and effectively.
ppp throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

ppp moves into range and clinches up with George.
ppp breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
George looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

George drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

George fails to land with a series of punches.
ppp tries to close the distance and clinch but George swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
ppp lands with a thumping leg kick.
George throws a sloppy head kick and ppp moves out of range easily.
ppp tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but George paws at him with a jab and circles away.
George catches ppp with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

ppp has George pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. George manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A frustrated look appears on George's face as he tries to break the clinch.
ppp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chicken George has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Batek ppp is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
George has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by ppp.
George closes the distance and lands a one-two.

I would just about give that final round to Chicken George.
Well ppp has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
