Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between koln poir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sterling French (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). poir is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Sterling French told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
French misses with a wild body shot.
poir is breathing heavily.
No luck for poir with that takedown attempt.
French throws a big shot that misses.
French throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from French. poir does a little dance to reset his feet.
poir checks a leg kick nicely.
poir dodges the punch combination from French.
French shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. poir is trying to defend but French finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
French uses his free foot to push down on poir's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for poir.
French content just to control the position here.

French has both hooks in and is working for a choke. poir is in real trouble here. French gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, poir is tapping out! French wins by rear naked choke!
