Budgell comes into the arena with Im to sexy!!!! blaring out of the sound system. Mark Scylla has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Adam Budgell's chin.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Scylla! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Budgell takes a shot right to the bread basket. Budgell fails with a takedown attempt. Scylla tests Budgell's chin there with a solid looking shot. A combination from Scylla does no damage. Scylla throws a series of punches but Budgell moves out of range. Budgell fails with the takedown. Budgell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Scylla's half guard. Budgell thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Scylla wants to get back to his feet.

Scylla working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Budgell. Budgell with a flurry of punches that miss. Scylla wants to stand up but Budgell is controlling him. Budgell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Budgell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Scylla looks panicked! That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Scylla decides to stand back up. Scylla steps back and let's Budgell get back to his feet. Budgell closes the distance and clinches. Scylla has had enough of the clinch but Budgell keeps him there for the moment. Scylla wants to break the clinch but can't.
Budgell keeps control of Scylla as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Scylla tries to break free but Budgell pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scylla wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Budgell has him pressed against the cage. Budgell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Budgell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scylla tries to break the clinch but Budgell is controlling the position. Scylla wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Budgell accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Budgell in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Scylla wants to get back to his feet but Budgell is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Budgell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scylla works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Scylla is looking to stand up but Budgell isn't so interested in that idea. Budgell trying to move into half guard but instead Scylla has managed to sweep! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mark Scylla will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Scylla throws a nice looking combination but Budgell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Budgell fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Budgell. That's going to take a lot out of him. A punch combination from Scylla misses. Scylla misses with a looping left. Budgell dives in and grabs Scylla's left leg, looking for a takedown. Scylla pushes down on Budgell's head and hops out. Budgell shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Scylla looks to score with a jab to the body but Budgell is just out of range. Budgell has a takedown stuffed. Scylla misses with the combination.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Budgell doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Budgell dodges the punch combination from Scylla.
Scylla closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scylla bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Mark Scylla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scylla lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Scylla swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Scylla lands a head shot. Scylla connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Budgell's hands.
Budgell is rocked! Budgell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Scylla.
Oh Budgell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Scylla closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Budgell! Scylla dives in looking to finish! Budgell is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
