Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between alberto roberto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert McLovin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLovin has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. alberto roberto has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, alberto roberto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Robert McLovin! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McLovin throws a head kick that misses. McLovin looks gassed! roberto shoots in for a takedown but McLovin shows good takedown defense. roberto shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McLovin as he jumps to the side. roberto shoots in and bounces McLovin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. roberto showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. roberto wants to control from the top but McLovin keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. roberto is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. McLovin is wriggling around but roberto manages to pass to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! roberto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McLovin sees it coming and defends easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McLovin misses with a head kick.
McLovin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. McLovin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. roberto dives in and grabs McLovin's left leg, looking for a takedown. McLovin pushes down on roberto's head and hops out. roberto decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, roberto seems content to control. McLovin is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. McLovin is staying active underneath roberto, who seems content to just control the action from this position. roberto takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. McLovin wants to stand back up but roberto manages to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. roberto working the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. roberto is looking to take a break and control but McLovin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
alberto roberto dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
roberto shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McLovin throws a sloppy head kick and roberto moves out of range easily. roberto drives through and clinches with McLovin against the cage.
roberto drops to a knee looking for a takedown but McLovin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
roberto misses with a hook to the ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McLovin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McLovin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but roberto moves out of range and avoids them all easily. roberto changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McLovin tries to avoid it but roberto manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McLovin to the ground. McLovin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for alberto roberto. That's going to take a lot out of him. McLovin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Nice takedown defense from McLovin. No joy for roberto on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by roberto. roberto is looking to take a break and control but McLovin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McLovin seems a little lost for a moment, as roberto dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. roberto has hold of McLovin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. McLovin seems comfortable defending it but roberto has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! McLovin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! McLovin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but roberto couldn't care less - he's delighted!
