Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Huw Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Thiele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Huw Davies! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Christian Thiele! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davies throws a body punch but Thiele moves out of range. Thiele lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davies circles away quickly and effectively. Thiele looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Thiele scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Thiele scores with punches from side control. Davies knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Thiele on the ground. Davies takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Thiele creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Davies sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Davies is not content to let Thiele control the position. Thiele throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Thiele misses with the ground and pound. Thiele sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Davies is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thiele postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Davies parries the strikes from Thiele easily there. Thiele is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Davies to escape.
Thiele wants to control but Davies is keeping him busy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Davies walks into a jab. Davies is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Thiele. Thiele scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Davies is breathing heavily. Thiele scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Davies dodges the ground and pound from Thiele. Thiele working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Thiele cracks Davies with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thiele controls the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Thiele is looking to take a break and control but Davies is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Thiele working the ground and pound. Thiele throws an elbow but Davies slips to the side and avoids it well. Thiele in side control lands a decent elbow. Thiele has hold of Davies's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Davies seems comfortable defending it but Thiele has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Davies is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Davies is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Thiele couldn't care less - he's delighted!
