Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Puustinen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Powers somewhat.
Puustinen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

and Puustinen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Powers's guard now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Puustinen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Powers to the mat! Powers manages to get full guard.
