Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dog Catcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlie Phelps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phelps has chosen Dixie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Catcher decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Catcher is keen to just control but Phelps is a slippery customer.
Catcher is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Phelps has managed to free his arm - good work.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Catcher lands a nice short elbow.
Phelps looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Catcher seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

and Catcher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Phelps won't be happy with that.

Catcher bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Phelps gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Catcher throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dog Catcher dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Phelps with a poor takedown
and Catcher counters with a shoot takedown. Phelps fights it but they end up in guard.
Phelps has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Catcher doesn't defend quickly enough and Phelps has managed to lock this one up! Can Catcher escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Phelps on a fantastic submission victory.
