Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dominic Richard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brian Wright! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richard closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Richard lands in his opponent's guard. Wright is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Richard working some strikes from top position. Richard slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Richard looking to pass the guard. Richard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Wright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Wright scores with a short punch from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wright has a closed guard, preventing Richard from standing up. Wright wants to sweep but no luck. Richard trying to control the position from guard on top but Wright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Richard circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Richard fails to land the takedown. Wright shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Richard moves into the clinch. Richard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wright smiles and moves away.
Richard gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wright counters with a nice uppercut. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominic Richard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wright lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Wright scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Richard is rocked! Richard is breathing heavily. Wright closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wright lands in his opponent's guard. Oh Richard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Wright postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Wright postures up and lands a big shot to Richard's brow. Richard seems to have got his legs back now. Richard is working an open guard so Wright takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright drives through and clinches with Richard against the cage.
Wright lands a left hand that snaps the head of Richard backwards. Richard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Richard fails to pull guard.
Wright's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Wright throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Richard was covering up waiting for the punch and Wright finishes the takedown easily into guard. Wright stopping the sweep attempt from Richard. Wright wanted to stand there but Richard had control of the position. Richard is working an open guard so Wright takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Richard clinches up against the cage. Richard wants to get back to striking at distance but Wright won't allow it.
Richard jumps into guard, dragging Wright to the mat.
Wright landing some decent shots from guard. Richard keeping moving, preventing Wright from controlling successfully. Richard seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Richard looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wright puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Wright dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wright takes the fight into the clinch. Richard has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wright is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wright successfully pulls guard.
Wright pushes Richard off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wright gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A head punch blocked on the inside by Wright. Richard is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wright gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Richard fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dominic Richard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wright blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Richard takes a knee right on the jaw!
Wright jumps guard and drags Richard to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Richard trying to control but Wright is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wright looking to control.
Wright working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Richard. Wright wants to stand but Richard is controlling the position. Wright trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Wright avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wright lands a body shot.
Wright shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Richard keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Wright looking to control but Richard is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Richard tries to hold on but Wright postures up. Wright punishing his opponent with strikes. Richard is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richard working to try and regain half guard.
Wright trying to control but Richard is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Richard is looking to improve his position but Wright isn't that keen on the idea. Richard is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Wright is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Richard is surviving well by controlling Wright's body position as best he can. Richard tries to hold on but Wright pushes him away. Richard is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Wright pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Richard tries to hold on but Wright postures up. Richard is working to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wright with the ground and pound from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brian Wright showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Richard tries to bum rush Wright with a series of wild strikes but Wright uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Richard swats away the attempt to clinch by Wright. Richard fails with the takedown. Richard misses with a leg kick and Wright counters with a takedown into side control. Wright trying to control the position but Richard is working away. Richard is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wright off and has taken his back! Wright tries to break free.

That's one minute gone in the round. Wright manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Richard manages to get himself to full guard.
Richard looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wright lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wright working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Richard's head. Wright throwing strikes from guard but Richard blocks nicely. Richard seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright wants to control from the top but Richard keeps moving. Wright is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Richard wants to sweep but no luck. Wright trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wright tries for a takedown but Richard circles away easily and Richard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wright's guard now. Richard wants to control from the top but Wright keeps moving. Richard chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Richard with a flurry of punches that miss. Wright has a closed guard, preventing Richard from standing up. Wright is looking to stand up but Richard isn't so interested in that idea. Richard wants to control from the top but Wright keeps moving. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Richard has a takedown stuffed. Wright closes the distance looking to clinch and Richard counters with a nice double leg into guard. Richard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dominic Richard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Richard won't allow Wright to sweep him here.
And that's the end of the fight! Dominic Richard showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wright has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
