And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, arch enemy!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
enemy lands with a nice combination. Santiago backs away looking to recover.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Santiago is on top in guard.
Santiago wants to stand but enemy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Good leg kick by enemy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Santiago has his takedown stuffed
and enemy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Santiago sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Santiago moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, enemy has worked his arm free - good work by enemy!

Well enemy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
